On March 2011, Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Cultural Activities mentions her in the list of experts for assignments in the field of activities “Program 2010” of Central Institute for Catalogue and Documentation, in the fields of Photointerpretation, Map Reading, Georeferencing and GIS.
She has developed several projects of international significance since 1998 on issues of conservation, restoration and valorisation of cultural heritage, not only taking care of the education aspects oriented to transfer of technology and knowledge in the specific field, but also the activities related to valorisation in socio-economics terms of such investments. University of Urbino with AUST proposed a three-year diploma on restoration andvalorisation of cultural heritage with the possibility of getting a five-year degree to be completed with a further 2 years both in Lebanon and other European institutes.
During this period she worked with many universities, with institutions and local governments and with international organizations (UNESCO, ICCROM), involved in various stages of a project with a role not only scientific but also technical and organizational manager maturing considerable experience in the preparation and management processes to achieve the objectives and expected results in the various projects.
The areas on which she has developed the most projects are those of the Euro-Mediterranean countries and in particular the Balkans with a Master Level 1 – “Tools and methods for the preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage” with the aim of giving specific training oriented to management and valorisation of cultural heritage, involving Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Macedonia; Libya with a project of monuments restoration and training, involving officials of the Department of Antiquities in Tripoli, and recently Lebanon, with a training program project for restorers in Beirut.
As part of the partnership with the Laboratory for Photogrammetry of the University Institute of Architecture of Venice, developed between 1980 and 1990, she dealt especially with problems concerning photogrammetric surveying and graphic return.
She was born in Padova (1957-02-01), obtained degree in Architecture by Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia, with a first-class honours degree, discussing a thesis on Photogrammetry entitled: “Architectural survey through integration of different techniques: la Cappella del Santissimo Sacramento del Duomo di Treviso”. Supervisors were Prof. M. Tafuri of Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia and Prof. C. Monti of Politecnico di Milano.
From 1984 to 1986 she was on duty by the Laboratorio di Fotogrammetria dell’Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia as high-skilled technician (D.P.R. n.382 art.26) for training of personnel and use of photogrammetric instruments.
