Architect Altino Barbosa Caldeira from Brazil with an annual scholarship from IPHAN (Instituto do Patrimonio Histórico e Artístico Nacional) official organ responsible for protecting Cultural heritage in Brazil and from the Pontificia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais, where the architect teaches the course of Architecture and Town Planning and in the post-graduate programme in Geography. The post-doc programme was carried out in collaboration with the Architecture and Territorial Planning Department of the Engineering Department of the University of Bologna. The research work concerned application of flat photogrammetry to recover an old town centre applied to a case study: Piazza del Popolo in Cesena (2006-2007).
Dr. Suzanne Maria Psaila from Malta with a scholarship from the Italian Institute of culture in Malta of six months. The research work concerned the new technologies of three-dimensional laser scanning surveying applied to cultural heritage and in particular to archaeological heritage(2005-2006).
